SMARTrack Information Systems Ltd is an independent software company based in the heart of rural Dorset. The Company was formed in March 1999.

We supply software solutions to small, medium and large enterprises, specialising in the areas of stock control, inventory management, costing, event management & educational tracking.

Our software is designed around the philosophy of delivering business advantage to organisations through the practical implementation of technology.  

We have clients based in locations throughout the United Kingdom.

History of SMARTrack

The first SMARTrack product was developed in response to a need from a hotel in 1991 to effectively control their ordering process, and importantly, to ensure the best prices from multiple suppliers.

No suitable products were available at the time and the first version of the Stox product line was developed. This early system proved an important point - that small business systems can be inexpensively developed and deliver tangible business benefits and cost savings. 

Since then the product has evolved in tune with advancing technologies and business requirements, whilst still delivering the valuable and economical solution of the original.
